FOCUS THE LAWS FOR EFFECT

The problem with gun violence is the emphasis on ownership, instead of use.

Felony gun misuse is a problem because our jails are full of candy criminals. Dope offenders that need treatment, not jail.

As I’ve said before, in the case of gun violence, for the first offense, neuter the perp.

I’m not going to suggest that I have the cure for our wacked out justice system, but I do know that armed violence is repugnant. Terrible. Devistating, and worse when it’s a school shooting.

So, let the punishment be repugnant and horrible.

When a firearm is used in the commission of a crime, the covicted felon would best be neutered for the first offense. We don’t want to deny said offender possible rehabilitation, but we don’t want to let that freak breed. Let’s keep that shit out of the gene pool.

The inablers need harsh consequenses as well. “My kid took my gun” ain’t good enough.

Oh, and here in the city, police ought to take these gangbangers and teach ’em to shoot. The rash of unintended victims is appalling. Teach ’em to hit only the person they’re shooting at and there will be a dramatic decrease in shooting injuries and deaths.

I’ve heard of equal justice for all, and yet once again, White Collar Weisselberg is handled with kid gloves and goes scot-free, for now, with little inconvenience.

You chicken poop Democrats need to get it in gear! You don’t have long to get it together so get together.

Don’t waste your time shaking in your boots thinking about what the Republicans could do to you if they were in power, Do to them what they would do to you while you’re in power.

Get something done about this filibuster and get it done now.

Pass some more meaningful legislation and quit your bellyaching about what they might do to you.

Biden needs to get his party in line. He needs to know that we want to spend as much time and resources as it takes to reveal all the criminal activity of the trump administration and prosecute the guilty parties to the fullest extent of the law.

We’re happy to move on only after we’ve cleaned up the last for years.

You can’t build a new administration on a turd pile.

We don’t need more gun laws

Gun legislation has become a pathetic political football kicked around this way and that with no common sense being applied to the issue.

It’s really quite simple. If a firearm is used in the commission of a crime put the criminal in jail, for a long, long time.

Set the potheads free and make room for the real violent criminals, and then put them in jail for a long, long time.

The vast majority of gun owners are responsible. It’s only the miniscule minority that picks up a gun and uses it in the commission of a crime. Those few should be treated harshly. That’s all there is to it. Leave the gun owners alone, put the violators away. Increase the sentence, not the number of laws.

Quit playing games with gun laws.
